How ThreadSpot works
What happens between pasting your site and reading a drafted reply, and, just as importantly, what never happens.
- 01
Tell ThreadSpot what you do
Give it your site, product or offer. ThreadSpot learns what problems you actually solve, and you correct anything it gets wrong before it does anything else.
- 02
It finds where the conversations are
Relevant communities and conversation spaces where people are already asking questions, comparing options and looking for help. Each one checked live, so you are never pointed somewhere that died two years ago.
- 03
It filters the noise
A wide first pass catches potential matches. The model then reads each one for context, relevance and intent. Would this person actually want to hear from you here? Most don't make the cut, on purpose.
- 04
You get the ones worth your time
Not a pile of mentions to sort through. A handful of conversations that actually fit what you do, each with a score and one plain sentence on why.
- 05
It drafts a useful starting point
A reply in your voice, opening with something genuinely helpful, mentioning you once and only if it fits, with the context you need to make it yours.
- 06
You decide what happens next
Edit it, ignore it or post it yourself. Your accounts, your words, your credibility. ThreadSpot never takes over, which is exactly why it can never put you at risk.
Reading a score
The score is the model’s confidence that this specific person would welcome hearing from you in this specific thread. It is not a measure of how big the opportunity is.
Hot, 0.70 and up
They are asking for the thing you do, right now. Worth replying today.
Warm, 0.30 to 0.69
Related and real, but the ask is looser. Reply if you have something specific.
Below 0.30
Never shown. It matched a keyword and failed the relevance check.
What never happens
ThreadSpot never posts, comments, votes or sends DMs. It never asks for your accounts and never connects to them. Every reply you send, you send yourself, which is exactly why using this cannot put your accounts at risk.
