About SiTech

A US silicone manufacturer, not just a supplier.

SiTech is a US-based silicone rubber injection molding manufacturer specializing in high-quality, first-surface silicone keypads, custom parts and over-mold assemblies. We pair a cutting-edge injection molding process with Dow and Momentive silicones and platinum-curing catalysts to produce components that compression molders cannot match.

For more than two decades our team has manufactured entirely at our Newport News, Virginia facility — bringing over 75 years of combined experience in silicone keypad design and molding to medical, defense, aerospace, aviation, marine and industrial customers.

“The customer is and has always been the focus of our business.” SiTech — Newport News, Virginia

Frequently asked questions

Answers from our engineers.

LIM provides high precision in complex designs, reduced cycle times for faster production, lower labor intensity and cost-efficiency in high-volume runs. Closed-loop systems minimize contamination for consistent, repeatable quality.
We use the Pantone Matching System (PMS) for precise color matching, ensuring consistency within a 1 Delta-E variation through both visual and electronic analysis.
The lifespan depends on design and usage — properly designed keypads can last millions of actuations. With the correct actuation force and tactile feel engineered in, a keypad is designed to last the lifetime of the product.
Three coatings: Si Coat I (abrasion-resistant), Si Coat II (chemical-resistant against petroleum and harsh chemicals) and Si Prime (a bonding solution for silicone and acrylic adhesives).
Yes. We offer screen printing and laser marking. Our proprietary silicone inks are cross-link bonded to the keypad during the curing process for durability, with both positive-image and reversed-out graphics available.
SiTech operates under an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system. Testing includes tear strength, compression set and abrasion resistance evaluations.
Yes — especially for customers who require rapid prototyping or smaller production runs. Laser marking is a cost-effective decorating method for lower volumes.
